This presentation explores the challenges experienced by Christian leaders and their families in balancing living an authentic life with the demands of their public and private roles. We will examine the tension between living genuinely and conforming to societal expectations, discuss the implications for individuals and family dynamics, and explore treatment options for this population.
Learning Objectives:
As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to
1. describe the crisis experiences of Christian leaders and their families as they navigate the tension between living authentically and authentically to conform to external expectations.
2. identify the way Christian leaders and their families perceive the balance between genuine self-expression and external pressures.
3. describe therapeutic interventions designed to help Christian leaders and their families navigate this identity crisis.
4. identify ethical guidelines pertinent to working with this population.
Continuing Education Credit Available: 1.5 credit hours

ACPE maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 11/05/2024-11/05/2025. Social workers completing this course receive 1.5 Social Work Clinical continuing education credits.
