Selena Coleman

Garden of Personal Peace

Selena Coleman

Dr. Selena Coleman is a licensed and ordained minister with a Baptist and a Non-Denominational ecclesiastical background. Her ministry began in urban outreach, including homeless shelters, jails, and hospital/hospice care. Known as Dr. Selena, she graduated from Jacksonville Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Divinity in Chaplaincy with a special interest in Christian Counseling. Her overall concerns were the mental and behavioral health issues in ethnic women, indigent mothers, and veteran women after war. Therefore, she proposes a more progressive technique for Therapists and Clients to explore healing vibrations during sessions via inter- and intra-personal intelligence. These methodologies: The Power of Storytelling, Sharing Life-Experiences, and Testimonials, are common ground for developing a trustworthy Counselor/Client relationship. She believes that these tools measure her clients' biographical timelines as a discovery tool for unveiling suppressed emotional triggers, allowing the clients to trace, dig, and heal.
