Dr. Myron Krys, Ph.D. (he/him), is a queer-affirming psychotherapist and accomplished scholar, pastor, and clinician. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Pastoral Theology, Personality, and Culture from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling and Specialized Ministries from Columbia Theological Seminary.

Dr. Krys currently serves as a psychotherapist at The Depth Collective PLLC and as Visiting Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at Union Theological Seminary. His clinical practice specializes in identity development, self-esteem, sexuality, trauma, and addiction recovery, with particular expertise in supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and spiritually diverse communities. He works with individuals, couples, throuples, and polyamorous constellations, incorporating psychodynamic, relational, depth-oriented, and decolonial approaches.

Previously, he served as Staff Psychotherapist at LifeWorks Psychotherapy Center, Adjunct Professor at the Center for Religion and Psychotherapy of Chicago, and Interim Pastor at Wellspring Community Church. His teaching includes courses on pastoral licensing, psychology and theology of religious fundamentalism, addictions and spiritual care, and masculinity and healing from a Buddhist perspective.

A recipient of the prestigious Louisville Postdoctoral Fellowship, Dr. Krys has published work bridging faith, psychology, and culture. He is dedicated to advancing conversations around spirituality, mental health, and inclusivity, empowering individuals from all walks of life.
